Katavi Wildlife Camp

Katavi Wildlife Camp

Katavi Wildlife Camp is an unpretentious seasonal tented site cleverly hidden amongst brachystegia woodland (miombo) bordering the largest of three seasonal lakes that form the backbone of Katavi National Park, over 4400 square kilometers of untouched primal wilderness teeming with game, and visited by only a handful of privileged African safari enthusiasts each year.

Room

The 5 doubles and 3 twin rustic tents at Katavi Wildlife Camp are comfortable, roomy and welcoming, set on raised decking with low, wooden balustrades protected and camouflaged by high thatched roofs. Set well apart, they boast sturdy, wooden king-size beds, table, lamp and a safe trunk. Decorative touches include gay linens, carpets and wall hangings. Small, partly screened off bathrooms with solar hot water to shower and vanity basins, and eco-friendly flush loo.
